Materials and structure of the helmet
Experimental tests of vibration, bending, tension and breaking are performed on samples from the shell in order to characterize the behavior of this composite material. Characterization tests of materials allow the development of constitutive laws that will be implemented in the finite element model.
Modelling and optimization of the helmet
The mechanical properties obtained are implemented in the model of the helmet for a validation vis-à-vis the experimental data.
The coupling of the anatomical model of the head with a helmet that allows the optimization vis-à-vis biomechanical criteria.
